Holding the Ceremony of Delivering a Speech to the Law Officers, Grade- 4 (Probation)

H.E. U Tun Tun Oo, the Union Attorney General, attended and delivered a speech at the ceremony of delivering a speech to the law officers, grade-4 (probation) at the meeting room of the Office of the Attorney General of the Union at 10:00 a.m. this morning.

In his speech, the Union Attorney General said that when the law officers, grade-4 (probation) are appointed, they have to attend training at Nay Pyi Taw and Central Institute of Civil Service for one month and half in each training, but now training will be provided at six Region and State Advocate General Offices not in Nay Pyi Taw because of Corona Virus Disease-19, law officers need to perform their duties with a quality mindset, they have to fulfil their duties by following civil service personnel rules and regulations, and code of ethics for civil service personnel and law officers, they have to study hard to perform the duties concerning with the prosecution such as giving pre-trial legal advice, conducting the cases, checking remand whether it is consistent with the law when requested by prosecution bodies, filing revisions and appeals, withdrawing cases, closing cases in accordance with the law and giving legal advice when requested by government organizations, they need to study continuously to be qualified law officers, and they have to strive to be good law officers who bring justice to the public by practising their profession.

The Deputy Attorney General, the Permanent Secretary, Directors General, Deputy Directors General, Directors and the law officers, grade-4 (probation) attended this ceremony.
