Attorney General of the Union Attends the Opening Ceremony of Refresher Course No. 30 for Law Officers Grade-3 and Delivers Speech

       H.E. U Tun Tun Oo, the Attorney General of the Union attended the opening ceremony of Refresher Course No. 30 for law officers grade-3 held at the ground floor meeting hall of the Union Attorney General’s Office at 9:00 a.m. in this morning, and delivered the opening speech.

       In the opening speech, the Attorney General of the Union instructed that law officers have to implement the  functions  in  accordance  with  the  existing laws forward to policies, guidelines of the State; study to know about the law broadly and to be proficient the office works, management and budget; perform prosecution such as tendering legal advice before trial; appearing the cases, withdrawing, closing, filing the revision or appeal cases without corruption in accordance with the law; protect the grievance of the plaintiffs  and the rights of the accused in accordance with  the law for justice; cooperate with the relevan1 departments and organizations for improvement of the rule of law  and justice sector; abide by the ethics of the civil servants and Code of Ethics for Law Officers,  and  perform  dutifully  their  duties;  endeavor  to  improve  the qualification  by  establishing the basic  good mindset.

       The Deputy Attorney General, Permanent Secretary, Directors General, Deputy Directors General, Directors, trainers and 31 trainees from the Union Attorney General’s Office attended the opening ceremony. The duration of the training will last for six weeks.
