Union Attorney General receives a delegation led by Mr. Subhrendu Chatterji from the PWC Consortium implementing technical project of the UK government

            U Tun Tun Oo, the Union Attorney General, received a delegation led by Mr. Subhrendu Chatterji from the PWC Consortium implementing technical project of the UK government at the meeting hall of the Union Attorney General’s Office at 10:00 a.m this morning.

            At the meeting, the Union Attorney General discussed the role of his office in the legislation, executive and judiciary sectors, the rule of law, investment, improvement of financial framework, and cooperation with international organization to combat money laundering.

            Mr. Subhrendu Chatterji, the leader from the PWC Consortium, also discussed the matters relating to improvement of economic cooperation with Myanmar, technical support to develop financial market and schemes for financial market and intellectual property projects for six countries of ASEAN including Myanmar. After that they cordially discussed to make trainings and workshops for the improvement of financial market and intellectual property laws.

            The Deputy Attorney General U Win Myint, Directors General Daw Khin Cho Ohn and Dr. Thida Oo also attended this meeting.
